As a Product Manager in Digital Account Opening and Activation Tean, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Manages key stakeholder relationships critical to supporting the product vision, strategy, objectives, discovery and delivery of program initiatives.
- Be empowered to solve customer problems in ways that our customers love, and works for the business.
- Focus on outcomes not output and use data & metrics to measure success.
- Ensures commitment for dependencies across products both internal and external.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes product challenges, and provide transparency to stakeholders
- Adheres to JIRA standards including supporting documentation –maintain evergreen documentation for both current state as well as historic audit documentation
- Supports quarterly increment planning with agility leads across all impacted parties
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience with risk management and fraud prevention tools
- Self-motivated with a high degree of independence, has a bias towards action, and willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure projects are tracking towards success
- Excellent written/verbal communication and strong presentation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborates and can build strong relationships across the firm and with external partners, flexible with changing priorities
- Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
- Experience with Application Programming Interface (API)-based designs, Kafka driven architecture, JavaScript stack
- Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase Account Opening
- Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
