ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

 
 

The Commercial Credit Product Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end client and employee experience with a focus on the digital platforms that support Key’s Commercial Clients. In this role, they will partner with stakeholders from multiple lines of business to ensure we are meeting our clients and business partner’s rapidly evolving needs. Some of these items include, but are not limited to, developing a credit product roadmap and backlog in partnership with business development, portfolio management, loan operations, technology, and other partners across the bank.  This role will also be critical in supporting the current and future commercial loan conversions. The Credit Product Manager will be responsible for monitoring operational performance and supporting cross functional partners to resolve challenges and enhance the end-to-end risk/control environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work with technology and operations teams to enhance platform capabilities and implement scalable procedures
  • Work in a matrixed organization with colleagues across various reporting structures -- lead, influence and align teams without direct managerial responsibility
  • Effectively work with internal teams and external partners to drive enhanced capabilities, product roadmap alignment, and project execution
  • Document requirements across organizations and drive successful outcomes in accordance with agreed upon project plans
  • Ability to understand, develop, and execute business performance analysis, tracking initiatives and reporting to leadership
  • Maintain awareness of evolving market trends to bring a forward-looking perspective in modifying our client and employee experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of financial services experience and/or product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with commercial credit products or related credit responsibility (Ie. loan servicing, underwriting, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the end-to-end client and employee credit lifecycle
  • Problem solving and critical thinking, with the ability to identify root cause and proper solution.   
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities – including in an agile framework
  • Data driven mentality
  • Excellent influencing, consulting and communication (both oral and written) skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to multiples audiences in business terms.
  • Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and processes of design thinking; ability to utilize the knowledge in designing new products and services and even improving organizational operation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to innovate (ie. Think outside of the box) to come up with optimal solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Acute attention to detail with an ability to identify or discover trends or themes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate methodology for issue resolution of complex problems.
  • Previous success in implementing simple and efficient product development or project management programs and processes.
  • Proven ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data query tools and management reporting techniques.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $95,000 to $105,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
