What you’ll do in this role:
As the Deposit Product Manager, you’ll manage the retail deposit portfolio, including checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts. Develop product strategies aligned with business objectives and oversee the product life cycle. You will collaborate with internal teams, conduct competitive analysis, and monitor product performance to drive deposit growth and improve member experience.

- This is a “flex” position with work from home days along with onsite days based at our Lake Forest corporate office.

This work includes:
- Managing the retail deposit portfolio including checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposits, and related products and services.
- Analyzing market trends and member needs to develop product strategies that align with business objectives and member experience.
- Managing the product life cycle, including product development, pricing, and promotion, leveraging a keen understanding of the end-to-end product experience. Producing and presenting recommendations to internal leadership committees.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful launch and ongoing management of products. Partnering with marketing to develop and execute tailored strategies to drive deposit growth and engagement across the product suite.
- Understanding the member journey and working with key stakeholders to improve the experience. Leading regular meetings to align key product enablers and stakeholders on in-flight efforts and the product roadmap.
- Working with internal training and coaching teams to create a uniform understanding across the company of the product design and value propositions. Ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales tools.
- Conducting regular competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement and/or additions. Analyzing product performance metrics to identify opportunities and understand progress towards goals.
- Working independently and in partnership with the Member Experience team to conduct regular member research to gather feedback and improve product offerings.
- Integrating data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive reporting on product financial performance, member engagement, growth, and experience feedback, providing insights and recommendations for product improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in product management; in financial services – preferred

Experience in lieu of Education: 8+ years’ experience in product management
- Retail deposit product knowledge
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks requiring attention to detail, strategic thinking, organizational, analytical and research skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and others at all levels of an organization
- Goal-driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently, and is a champion for change, and
- Track record of successfully managing a product life cycle and leveraging system think to successfully influence experience transformation
