Director of Product Development

As the Director of Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in the future of the company. Our Director of Product Development will be responsible for the product vision and development of our core product. You’ll lead, manage and mentor a team of product managers and product designers, as well as collaborate closely with our Engineering, Marketing, and customer-facing teams, while providing overall vision and planning for the product roadmap. You will integrate our mature products with new and ambitious concepts. You will become the key evangelist of our portfolio, directing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, analyzing customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships, and informing Marketing and Sales efforts. You will have the opportunity to continue building the Product Team, while driving innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.

This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and the position is fully remote.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
• 5+ years of professional product management experience with an existing portfolio of at least 2 end-to-end projects and 2+ years of experience as a people and product leader 
• Demonstrable experience working within cross-functional teams and managing all elements of the product development lifecycle (ideation through commercialization and rollout) in combination with a customer-centric mindset
• Advanced proficiency with writing and editing combined with presentation and persuasive speaking
• Prior experience working within an early-stage technology company environment, preferably within the Enterprise SaaS and/or IoT Hardware space
