In this role, you will manage the development and implementation for existing and new products in the market. You will be required to partner with cross functional teams across our sales, services, operations, technology, legal, marketing, and product groups to understand, prioritize, build and design solutions and products to support the overall needs of the business. You will work alongside a team of product managers and developers who will continually evolve how we communicate on behalf of our clients and how we measure our success. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a financial or technology organization, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.


We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.


Responsibilities

  • Understand and deliver on a vision and goals grounded in client needs – internal and external.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and build consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and constraints. 
  • Identify, prioritize, and advocate for the largest opportunities, as well as creating and managing new efficiency opportunities from ideation to launch.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks related to product development, market changes, and competitive pressures.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, customers, and partners, to gather feedback and prioritize requirements.
  • Manage the overall project governance by creating and maintaining project schedules; help manage internal project communications to project & executive teams.
  • Resolve complex problems and partner with peers, technical teams, internal partners to provide solutions and timely resolution.
  • Ability to look across multiple systems and platforms, visualizing solutions to meet our clients’ needs.
  • Continually improving team processes via participation in retrospectives and other tactics.
  • Serve as a subject matter evangelist to partners.
  • Evaluate product solutions based on whether they are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.
  • Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other support teams and drive towards resolution.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, computer science, engineering)
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment
  • Experience executing the development process with technical teams, internal partners and external vendors including writing business requirements / use cases / user stories, conducting user acceptance testing and communicating project status to project team.
  • Prior experience writing business requirements, user stories or functional specifications.
  • Experience working or strong understanding in Financial Services Industry is encouraged.
  • Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to business partners including senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to turn data into insights.
  • Seasoned at daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos.


Salary range $130,000.00- $145,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
