Job Summary
Job Description
- Maintains a high level of expertise and understanding of the day to day functions of the LaMEDS system, all inbound and outbound file transfer activity affecting enrollment and eligibility, and relationship management between the FI and other state vendors included but not limited to the MCEs, Enrollment Broker and Third Party Liability (TPL) vendor relative to the LaMEDS system.
- Understands the business rules of the LDH Medicaid programs related to enrollment and eligibility, along with maintaining an understanding of LDH program office business needs as it relates to their programmatic oversight of enrollment and eligibility.
- Highly effective communicator, uses clear goals to communicate the sprint objective so the sprint team understands and is equipped to realize goals identified. Provides rapid feedback and communicates status outside of sprint team.
- Ensures impacted stakeholders for all Enhancements and Epics for the LaMEDS system are engaged and provided the opportunity to impact prioritization of module tasks.
- Plans and prepares for changes in functionality through incremental implementation with moving target completion dates
- Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or ROI.
- Participates in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other scrum-related meetingsΒ
- Identifies impediments and risks to sprint plans.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by the sprint team before sending to production.
- Manages project schedules and leads meetings for assigned projects.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.Β
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelorβs degree, or Associateβs degree plus 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional work experience.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in managing technical projects.
- Professional experience in the determination of enrollment and eligibility.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA, or relevant industry software.
- Professional experience presenting information to technical and nonβtechnical audiences.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Enhanced attention to detail and follow up, and effective verbal/written communications skills.
DESIRED:
- Advanced Degree.
- Minimum two years of professional experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA, or relevant industry software.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience with LDH information systems or programs utilized by the department.
- Minimum two years of professional experience with Medicaid or Medicare.
- CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMlβACP, PMlβRMP, PMlβSP, OPM3 or relevant industry certifications.
