Vanguard has a Manager, Product Manager opportunity open in our Financial Advisor Services Distribution Experience Product team. You will lead a team responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for a digital product or products, often with cross-divisional impact, demonstrating a deep comprehensive understanding of the digital product(s) and associated business areas.

As a leader in our Distribution Experience Product team, this role will offer you the opportunity to be at the forefront of strategically improving FAS Sales' pre-engagement experience to improve our client's experience and drive deeper engagement with advisors. This role will support the strategy and roadmap for multiple digital products, demonstrating a deep understanding of the products and associated business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversees digital product management activities for multiple digital products, or one strategic digital product.
  • Influences and collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Provides guidance and coaches digital product teams towards best practices and learnings. Manages product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and client outreach as necessary.
  • Facilitates strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions.
  • Leads the planning, development, and implementation of new products with significant impact. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Influences and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participates in and influences ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports enterprise CRM weekend elevations every 4-6 weeks.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Five years related business experience. Three years of leading cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
