Principal, Product Manager

This Principal Product Manager with a passion for Data & AI sits on the Insurtech Team and will help shape the future of the travel insurance industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions in the insurtech space. As the Principal Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to deliver game-changing products. 

 We are seeking candidates who can not only lead our Data & AI initiatives but also have the potential to expand their responsibilities to broader areas. This includes driving innovation by developing or sourcing new insurance products and optimizing customer shopping experiences. 

 

In this role, you will:


  • AI Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AI and Data-driven solutions in the travel insurance sector. 
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer needs. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and other teams to deliver high-impact AI capabilities and models. 
  • Data Utilization: Leverage data-driven insights to identify new product opportunities and optimize existing solutions. 
  • User-Centric Approach: Champion the user experience by ensuring products are intuitive, efficient, and customer-centric. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to gather insights, establish partnerships, and drive product success. 

 


Experience and Qualifications: 


  • Experience: You have 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong background in AI and Machine Learning, particularly in fintech or insurtech industries. 
  • AI Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, data analytics, and their applications in product development. 
  • Strategic Vision: You have a clear strategic vision for how AI can transform the travel insurance industry. 
  • Data-Driven: You make decisions based on data and can effectively communicate your insights and recommendations to stakeholders.   
  • Customer-Centric: You are passionate about understanding and meeting the needs of customers, and you advocate for user-centric solutions.
  • Leadership: You have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire them to achieve ambitious product goals.  
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  
     



The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.


Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
