About the Role:



As a Product Manager at Heartland, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our innovative products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define, build, and launch products that delight our customers.



 


Key Responsibilities:



Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals.



Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.



Product Roadmap: Create and manage a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and functionalities based on strategic objectives.



Feature Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features, write requirements, and prioritize development efforts.



Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.



Product Launch: Oversee product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer education.



Product Performance: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve product success.



Customer Focus: Advocate for the customer's needs and ensure that products meet their expectations.



 


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience gathering and documenting software requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze market data and customer feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for building exceptional products and delivering value to customers.

  • Proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and metrics.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Experience in HR tech, Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits Administration or Payroll software preferred.
