Product Manager

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Product Manager for a contract opportunity in Foothill Ranch, CA.

Product Manager Job Details

Project Manager responsible for the management of multiple projects associated with the development, release, and support of Self-Checkout (SCO) products. As a member of Product Management department, this person will be responsible for life cycle management of the SCO product line. Projects include the release of new and replacement hardware devices for the SCO product.

 

  • Primary interface to the product design authority for the release of new SCO product hardware features.
  • Manage SCO project development and release schedules.
  • Provided SCO product direction and support to subsidiaries
  • Manage and publish SCO product roadmap.
  • Manage product lifecycle of SCO device(s).
  • Maintain Customer BOM database and product Price Book for North America and Europe sales channel.
  • Maintain SCO product documentation
  • Work with subsidiaries and HW engineering to define project requirements for SCO enhancements and new product development.
  • Work with subsidiaries coordinate product Proof of Concepts and customer pilot acceptance of new hardware.
  • Work with Commercial/Finance department to define, release, and maintain product pricing.
  • Work with subsidiary services divisions to setup and maintain SCO parts and service.
  • Work with subsidiary logistics, purchasing, and sales admin to release new products and support existing product changes.

 

Product Manager Mandatory Skills

  • BS in technical field
  • 4 to 5 years project management experience
  • Experience in product life cycle management
  • Proficient in use of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
  • Prefer some experience in product manufacturing environment
  • The position requires domestic and international (Canada) travel up to 20% of the time
