 The Industrial Connected Solutions team is looking for an experienced, and highly energetic, global Product Manager.  This individual will own and support our current product and service offerings and also drive the development roadmap for new products and existing product enhancements.  This role requires managing services, cloud platforms and wireless hardware.  This individual will ensure that our products and technology align with our customers’ needs and the strategic initiatives of the company. 

Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of internet of things (IoT) technology (hardware, software, and cloud) and experience managing similar products on a global scale. Qualified candidates must be able to work from our Bloomington, MN Headquarters and will be reporting to the Connected Solutions Product Director.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders and customers to define market needs for next generation connected controllers, software, and services.
  • Drive the launch of new hardware and services, including developing sales projections, target markets, customer persona, training, and value propositions. 
  • Lead Cross functional teams developing and launching new products and services. 
  • Build business models and quantify return on investment for any new product development or enhancements. 
  • Maintain global forecasts for hardware while working with planners, procurement, and suppliers to ensure product demand is met globally. 
  • Work with internal business leadership to ensure product roadmaps align with corporate strategy. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external development teams to ensure product requirements are met and projects are completed on schedule. 
  • Train internal users and customers on current and new products and services.
  • Support sales as subject matter expert for strategic customer opportunities.   
  • Keep current with trends in IoT, Factory 4.0, Machine Learning and AI.
  • Develop and maintain technology partnerships.

TRAVEL: Up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business-related areas
  • 5+ Years experience in either product management or engineering of connected hardware and cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working with and leading cross functional teams
  • Background designing or managing products for Industrial users
  • Experience with various enterprise infrastructure technologies such as wireless/wired networking technology
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams developing and launching new products or services
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; well-honed influencing skills are desired
  • 10+ Years experience with a combination of design engineering and product management
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services
  • Experience working with industrial cellular IoT products
  • Knowledgeable about Agile Scrum Development is a plus)
