The YouVersion Product Manager is responsible for the current ideation and management of new product features and updates from conception to launch. This role will research new ideas, identify key user problems, and effectively prioritize product roadmaps using data, user feedback and input from stakeholders. This role will partner with design and engineering teams in exploring solutions to roadmap items by effectively building product requirements to solve key problems and improve the user experience. The YouVersion Product Manager will lead in the creation and monitoring of key product analytics. The Product Manager is responsible for digital products and delivering solutions that support the direction and efforts of their team to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do

    • Research new product ideas based on current market trends, analytics, and user feedback.
    • Lead in the brainstorming and development of innovative product ideas and solutions.
    • Develop and manage short-term and long-term product roadmaps. 
    • Build detailed product requirements and user stories.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators for areas of product ownership.
    • Monitor app reviews and user feedback.
    • Communicate roadmap progress and priorities to key stakeholders and leadership.

Skills Needed to Succeed

    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and find innovative solutions.
    • Outstanding listening skills and the ability to take what was learned and create a vision to execute effectively.
    • Must exemplify a high level of user focus.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to initiate the creative and critical thinking processes for oneself and the team.
    • Knowledge of the technical constraints of web and mobile development to inform and innovate design solutions.
    • Proficiency in current and relevant design, testing, and prototyping tools.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 3+ years of related work experience in product management, business analytics, or software portfolio management.
