The successful infrastructure Senior Product Manager will be a key member of the platform product management teams which provide key capabilities including licensing, settings, rostering and access controls for the ‘i-Ready Connect’ platform.  The Senior Product Manager will work closely with the technology, design and research teams to deliver solutions that support educators directly and indirectly by providing educators and other CA teams with tools and frameworks to extend the i-Ready platform.  They will develop a deep understanding of these educator and platform team needs, communicate product definition and prioritization to cross-functional teams, work closely with engineering teams to deliver reporting features, and act upon user feedback to continuously improve the product. The senior product manager—who is a creative, collaborative problem solver—will thrive in our fast-growing and dedicated environment.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Manage the organization, prioritization, communication, refinement and delivery of end user facing and internal tooling and capabilities for the platform
  • Drive product design end-to-end, working with leadership, product management, design, editorial, subject matter experts, development teams, and go-to-market teams. This will include researching internal and external user needs, synthesizing needs into a coherent vision and set of user goals, scoping and designing creative solutions, articulating and prioritizing detailed feature definitions, supporting development processes, and collaborating with go-to-market teams to deliver features to educators
  • Translate product vision into an actionable plan for engineering by breaking roadmap features into epics and user stories, defining requirements and acceptance criteria, and supporting a scrum team as needed through sprint and quarterly planning and refinement ceremonies
  • Collaborate with product, design, and user research teams to define new user interfaces and product flows to meet user reporting goals, while ensuring a cohesive product vision
  • Effectively present product plans, ideas, and designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders for feedback
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to communicate the vision for upcoming features and ensure teams have the product information they need to drive to a successful launch
  • Monitor product usage and interact regularly with internal stakeholders and educators to analyze product feedback and build product knowledge
  • Stay abreast of trends, key issues, competitors, and partner offerings

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 5+ years product management experience or product owner in an agile development environment; strong preference for experience with clients in a SaaS environment and working with backend features, capabilities and frameworks
  • Proven ability to develop product ideas that solve user needs based on input from various sources (e.g., stakeholder feedback, quantitative and qualitative data analysis) and technology and architecture team inputs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and collaborate across both technical and non-technical stakeholders, synthesize feedback, and drive to decisions
  • Excellent analytical skills with turning both quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights
  • Terrific organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced software development environment, proficiency with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of EdTech industry and is a plus

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $81,500. - $139,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
