Job Description
At DPR, our Data & Development organization is primarily focused on serving our internal customers. We are looking for a Product Owner with the curiosity to develop a deep understanding and sense of empathy for our customers to create remarkable new experiences for them, as a part of our internal Product Development team. This role requires you to act as a bridge between business needs and technical teams, driving product development of internal products and ensuring projects are executed on time with the highest quality. You will collaborate with stakeholders, deο¬ne product requirements, work with cross functional teams such as engineering, design and development and lead agile processes to deliver innovative solutions that support our company's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing product development lifecycles, including coordinating cross-functional, remote teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of products
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Perform data-driven analysis to make sound product decisions and influence business direction
- Continuously evaluate product fit/gap, process optimization, ascertain technical dependencies and maturity, perform external benchmarking, and recommend options that meet the long-term vision.
- Deο¬ne and document detailed scopes of work for product development cycles or sprints.
- Create low-ο¬delity mockups and work with UI/UX designers to deliver high-ο¬delity designs.
- Write functional speciο¬cations and user stories that clearly communicate product value.
- Follow DPRβs deο¬ned best practices and manage project milestones, track releases, and ensure timely delivery of updates through the application of Agile best practices.
- Monitor team performance metrics, and drive continuous learning and improvement within the team
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to convert the Product Roadmap into a detailed and actionable Development Roadmap; and with our Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and UI/UX to convert the Development Roadmap into a Detailed Design.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, manage sprint planning, and ensure coordination of release timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Understand and apply business processes and construction workο¬ows for intelligent collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualiο¬cations
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role, ideally within a construction, technology, or innovation-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and direct previous experience in implementing Agile practices.
- Ability to create detailed functional speciο¬cations, mockups, and user stories.
- Experience working with a distributed workforce, and remote team members
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of construction workο¬ows and business processes (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to align product development with organizational strategies and stakeholder needs
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate a globally distributed team (exact work hours to be coordinated with team members)
- Periodic travel, both domestic and international, may be required
Work Conditions
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a computer screen.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Occasional domestic travel, via airplane, will be required for meetings.
This is a hybrid role with most time being spent working from home. Attendance at important meetings and events at the local DPR office is required.
