Senior Product Manager
First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a strategic and result-driven Sr. Product Manager to lead and grow our credit union and entertainment-focused financial services. This role requires expertise in product management, business strategy, process optimization, vendor management, and P&L oversightβ€”all while delivering tailored financial solutions that meet the unique needs of credit union members and entertainment industry professionals.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of member-focused financial products, digital banking, lending, and payment solutions and is comfortable navigating the dynamic financial landscape of the entertainment industry, such as irregular income patterns, royalty structures, and industry-specific lending solutions.

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the VP, Product based in Hollywood, CA. The targeted pay in California is between $110,000 to $130,000.

Responsibilities

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Execute a strategic roadmap for credit union financial services, with a focus on entertainment professionals’ unique banking, lending, and wealth management needs.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Support management of the P&L, ensuring sustainable revenue growth while maintaining member-first financial solutions.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Drive agile product development to enhance digital banking experiences and introduce innovative financial products for members.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Monitor entertainment industry economic trends and credit union best practices to drive competitive positioning.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Oversee and streamline operational processes, ensuring compliance with NCUA regulations, state financial laws, and entertainment industry-specific financial requirements.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Manage third-party vendor relationships, including payment processors and digital banking platforms.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Champion process automation and efficiency, improving member experience while reducing operational costs.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Work closely with internal credit union teams, entertainment unions, guilds, and industry associations to align financial services with members’ evolving needs.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Partner with technology teams to drive digital transformation, ensuring seamless banking experiences for entertainment professionals with unpredictable income streams.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Collaborate with marketing and community outreach teams to enhance member engagement and drive financial literacy for entertainment industry workers.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business unit success in loan growth, deposit expansion, member satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Deliver insightful financial and operational reports to credit union leadership, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Assess market trends, competitor offerings, and member behavior to refine and enhance product and service offerings.

Requirements
Β 
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Bachelor’s degree required, with a master’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  7+ years of experience in product management, business unit leadership, or financial services, preferably within credit unions or entertainment industry banking.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Hands-on experience with P&L management, process optimization, vendor negotiations and governance, and digital banking initiatives.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Experience in regulatory compliance (FDIC, NCUA, CFPB, and entertainment-specific fields a plus).
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Expertise in credit, lending, payments, and wealth management.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute on vision and goals tailored to credit unions and entertainment professionals.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Deep expertise in financial services product management, and P&L management.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Ability to drive agile methodologies and digital banking transformations.
Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging credit union members, entertainment professionals, and regulators.
