Senior Product Manager, Acquisition Growth

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to join our Growth group. You will set the strategy and develop the roadmap for the Acquisition Growth team, whose charter and impact is focused on the acquisition and conversion of new customers. Your role will be to optimize customer onboarding, which includes the Dave.com website, educate our customers and potential customers to the Dave product suite, and identify top of funnel growth opportunities.
 

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in a Growth product role, ideally in consumer facing FinTech products. You should also be very fluent in agile methodologies, A/B and multivariate testing, as well as a number of analytics tools. You must communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain buy-in and alignment for your plans. You will lead and inspire a team of designers, data analysts and engineers (though they will not be your direct reports) to execute the product vision. After prioritizing ruthlessly, you will ship work that will move the needle on your OKRs.

What you'll do:

  • Own, Refine and Evangelize our Acquisition Growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with members of Design, Engineering, Analytics, User Acquisition, other Product Managers to identify and execute on initiatives to drive customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Drive introduction, trial and finally adoption of our credit and banking products
  • Use data to identify and prioritize and communicate opportunities to squads and stakeholders. 
  • Be a qualitative and quantitative expert on our customers and their needs.
  • Have a deep knowledge of how all the different segments of our members use the Dave app.
  • Define squad priorities and commitments on a sprint by sprint basis. Articulate user stories, requirements and identify success metrics.
  • Drive results that can be demonstrated using data

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in a Growth related role
  • Experience in FinTech, banking, or other B2C technology driven environment preferred
  • Prior experience partnering with User Acquisition and CRM, as well as familiarity with marketing tools such as Appsflyer, Contentful, and Braze
  • A track record of creating experiment and ramp plans and using data driven decisions to create a roadmap
  • Strong analytical skills, an ability to query and read data, parse through noise and recognize signals
  • A willingness to wear multiple hats and do what is needed to move the team forward
  • An ability to lead through ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal communication with engineering and senior management
  • Strong written skills using both slides and documents
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup is preferred
  • Ability to foster empathy for customers whose daily life, circumstances, and needs might be very different than your own
