About the position:


As Knotch’s Senior Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our dynamic, fast-paced environment. We're seeking an exceptional individual who can thrive in a sometimes fluid and unpredictable atmosphere, turning high-level product requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and designs. This role demands not just leadership, but a hands-on approach to execution.

You'll be entrusted with driving our product development process forward while continuously improving it. Your analytical prowess, superior communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively are crucial for understanding customer needs and translating them into scalable platform capabilities.


You will work closely with our Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Aron Tzimas and collaborate with our Head of Product, Matt Davis.


Your first 90 days:


  • First 30 days: Deep dive into our products and our processes by joining an ongoing epic, shaping user stories and requirements. 
  • First 60 days: Engage with our Customer Success team and customers to align our capabilities with business needs, as well as running your own epics
  • First 90 days: Collaborate with Product leadership and cross-functional teams to refine and communicate the product roadmap.

You will excel if you:


  • Have 6-10 years of recent experience in data analytics or content/website analytics/CMS as a Sr. Product Manager or similar.
  • Have a track record of managing complex technical projects in short-term sprints, budgets, and live/new products.
  • Can create and maintain strategic product roadmaps that prioritize key initiatives.
  • Understand the nuances of getting buy-in without resorting to "design by committee".
  • Are capable of taking full ownership of projects and executing them efficiently, end to end.
  • Have experience working in fast-paced, remote, tech environments.
  • Have prior startup experience and/or experience working as an engineer!
  • Have prior experience working with AI or built marketing/testing/workflow tools!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Roadmap Planning: develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and prioritization of key initiatives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Hands-On Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to define detailed product requirements. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to identify customer pain points and drive product improvements.
  • Agile Development Leadership: Act as a product owner in our agile environment. Provide clear, concise product requirements and user stories. Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups..
  • Product Launch Executive: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to plan and execute successful product launches. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Heap) to measure product performance and gather insights. Monitor key metrics, conduct data analysis, and use findings to inform product decisions and iterate on features.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customer success and support teams to gather customer feedback, understand pain points, and identify areas for improvement. Conduct customer interviews and user testing to validate product hypotheses and gather insights for future product iterations.
  • Industry Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend new features or enhancements to maintain our competitive edge.

Salary - The expected salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
