About the team and the role:



We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and experienced Product Manager to lead our Cart and Checkout experiences. As the Product Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining, driving, and delivering features that provide a seamless and efficient shopping experience for millions of eBay users worldwide.

What you will do:


  • Develop product vision, and execute a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for eBay’s Shopping Cart and Checkout experiences aligned with broader organizational and company goals
  • Discover and address customers' difficulties across the customer journey with cross-functional partners. Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to find opportunities for building best in class shopping cart experience 
  • Champion the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that user feedback and needs are at the forefront of product development and build personalized experiences
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design, build, and deploy new features and improvements.
  • Define the data that is needed to understand the customer problem, prioritize and test hypotheses. Report out on insights, size opportunities, and start new business cases
  • Define key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and measure success
  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to measure success and make data-driven decisions to optimize the shopping cart experience.
  • Lead experimentation to continuously optimize performance and user satisfaction


What you will bring:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7+ years of product management experience
  • Solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape and customer buying behaviors
  • Proven track record of planning and launching successful features that improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Experience with A/B testing, user research, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and the ability to think strategically and creatively.


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.


$149,200 - $234,850


Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.



If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
