Mujin is currently seeking a Product Manager who can lead the development and launch of innovative products that leverage industrial automation and intelligent robotics technologies. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and features, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and market demands.
Area of Focus:
Mujin MCX Controller platform: On our growth roadmap is the expansion of our unique offering to system integrators and sophisticated end-users of a real-time digital twin hardware and software offering utilizing path motion planning, vision systems, and machine intelligence to control robotics in the broadest sense.
A highly configurable no-code interface allows quick implementation of a large variety of sophisticated cells, e.g., palletizers, depalletizing, picking, truck unloading, automatic receiving, mobile robots, automatic storage and retrieval systems, etc. The role entails setting the direction for further commercialization of this offering in a rapidly expanding market.

Responsibilities:

    • Research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and best practices in industrial automation and intelligent robotics 
    • Ensure timely completion of the product without cost overruns 
    • Portfolio Management: Oversees the product portfolio from creation to retirement, ensuring orders, revenue and profitability 
    • Contributes to business strategy formulation and translates it into the offering and solution portfolio through market and customer segmentation, and continuously evaluates the portfolio content with a focus on new potential solution deployments 
    • Contributes to new portfolios development by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, monitoring portfolio performance, and coordinating with R&D  
    • Market analysis: Analyzes and tracks market, technology, competitor and customer requirements and trends related to the offering business including relevant regulations and standards and determines competitive attributes, prioritization and value proposition 

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience in product management or product development in industrial automation, intelligent robotics, or related fields 
    • Experience with agile software development methodologies
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
