We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join our Fire TV Experience team. In this role, you will spearhead the vision and strategy for advancing our search capabilities, with a particular focus on improving discovery for live/linear content, live sports, apps, and other emerging areas.
As a Senior Product Manager for Fire TV Search, you will have a significant opportunity to impact the customer experience, design, and implementation of cutting-edge search technologies. You will drive product strategy and definition, leveraging advanced technologies including LLMs and GenAI, and collaborate with engineering to develop and launch features that transform how users interact with Fire TV.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of search technologies, a passion for sports and media content, and a proven track record of delivering innovative products. They should be comfortable with ambiguity, adept at defining concrete strategies from broad concepts, and skilled in successful execution. Key job responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution strategy for enhancing Fire TV's search experience, with a focus on live/linear content, live sports, apps, and other underserved areas.
- Develop and articulate a roadmap for search capabilities, balancing short-term improvements with long-term innovation.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions and measure success, with a focus on improving search accuracy and user engagement.
- Collaborate with internal experts and teams including live/linear, video providers, engineering, marketing, UX research and design, and senior leadership to align on strategy and execution.
- Define project requirements, priorities, and success metrics, and oversee their implementation and performance.
- Lead initiatives leveraging advanced technologies such as LLMs and GenAI to enhance search capabilities.
- Communicate project status, strategy, risks, and issues to senior management effectively.
- Work closely with multiple engineering teams to deliver results that delight customers.
- 5+ years of professional experience of consumer facing software product management experience
- Bachelorβs degree or higher with a technical discipline
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
- Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
- MBA or Masterβs degree
- Experience delivering solutions enabling customers to discover, install, and manage mobile apps and/or services.
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- 5+ years of consumer facing software product management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
