Product Manager - Infrastructure Engineering

Willis Towers Watson
Full-time
On-site
South Jordan, Utah, United States

Description

Our engineering team has built the largest private Medicare marketplace in the country. We passionately focus on the continuous improvement of the systems we build and the culture we promote. We build a platform that provides the best possible support to our customers who are shopping for insurance, and where our insurance carriers can be confident that their products are accurately and impartially represented.

Our Product Managers are leaders — excelling in day-to-day tactical and long-term strategic product development. They oversee product functionality — in entirety or in part — as dictated by the scope constraints of the product offering. Each product manager is a champion for Agile/Lean product development principles among both their team and with product management colleagues. They are the strongest advocate for the engineering team’s stakeholders and customers — responsible for communication between the stakeholders and engineering team. They are duty-bound to strategically fulfill business objectives through development and delivery.

The Infrastructure Engineering team operates in a complex, multi-tenant hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure that spans both Windows and Linux. We value passion for security, reliability, and automation in line with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. We are working to support and re-imagine how all our engineering teams build, execute, and maintain software solutions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

We value learning and improvement through metrics and automation, and engendering that mindset in others. Expertise and energy for fostering a product culture that bridges the divide between Business Stakeholders along with Software Engineering, Help Desk, InfoSec, and Compliance teams. Recognition and up-to-date familiarity of current techniques and tools along with adapting to trends in the industry — knowing what is and what isn’t a good fit for adoption. If you value these same things, we want to hear from you.

Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.
