What you will be doing

Albertsons Media Collective, The Retail Media division of Albertsons has an opening for a Senior Technical Product Manager, Data and Identity.


The product team at Albertsons Media Collective plays a crucial role in developing innovative ad products and premium data-driven solutions that empower advertisers to reach millions of shoppers with highly targeted ads while enhancing the shopping experience. In this position, you will collaborate with diverse business and technical teams, including advertisers, suppliers, partners, and industry standards organizations, to define priorities and develop next-generation capabilities for retail media.


The position will be based in Pleasanton, California.


Main responsibilities



Develop and manage product roadmaps for customer (shopper) identity across our web sites and mobile applications, aligned to strategic goals and technical needs.


Partner with our ad sales team, engineering and data science to produce the data requirements and build durable, privacy-compliant identity technologies.


Analyze industry trends and industry standards, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities in advertising technology and retail media, driven by customer identity solutions.


Establish metrics to track the impact of improvements in customer identity on revenue and growth targets.


Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, gaining alignment and buy-in.


Navigate and solve problems within a complex matrix environment.


The salary range is $144,760 to $ $188,188 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).


What we are searching for  


Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, leading ad-supported media experiences within the tech, retail, entertainment, or social media industries.


Expert understanding of customer identity and customer data in advertising – browser cookies, mobile device identifiers, identity graph, 3rd party identity solutions, privacy compliance, data governance.


Experience building and launching complex B2B ad platforms at scale and providing product direction to meet customer needs.


Proven ability to develop vision, strategies, and foster collaborative relationships within complex, matrixed organizations.


Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics and optimization is a plus.


Analytical and wired to consume large amounts of data and insights.


Passionate technologist with a brilliant growth hacker mindset and business acumen


Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
