Our Private Wealth Management (PWM) division is seeking a member for its PWM Technology Best Practices team.  The PWM Technology Best Practices team is an established group with a mission to help grow revenues, enhance the associate and client experience, and improve profitability through technology.  We pride ourselves on providing our Financial Advisors and clients with top-notch platforms that are critical in driving our business forward.



The Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM; Dynamics 365) Technology Product Manager will be expected to play a leading role in the strategy, innovation, and day-to-day management of the client and prospect relationship management platform, automations, and integrations.  This position will collaborate with various corporate resource groups, Financial Advisors (FA) and Client Specialists (CS) ensuring branches' current and future Technology front office needs are met.  The role will have a strategic focus on Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform, as well as several supporting applications.  This role may grow to include additional responsibilities as PWM’s priorities change.



As a Technology Product Manager, you will:


  • Lead and manage the Microsoft CRM technology platform offerings and strategic roadmap through collaboration with key Baird stakeholders.
  • Maintain a long-term, strategic focus by staying familiar with industry platforms and capabilities, assessing competitive positioning, understanding branch associate needs, journey mapping, identifying and managing product enhancements, and helping to drive and measure product adoption. 
  • Ability to flex into multiple Product Manager skills such as creating business scenario planning, functional designs, process flow mapping, prototyping, requirements definition, UAT planning, project execution, training coordination, and documentation of operational support procedures.
  • Serve as lead interface with IT on deepening customer relationships and enabling sales projects acting as agile Product Owner with solid understanding of centralizing, maintaining, and prioritizing a backlog.
  • Act as vendor relationship manager and facilitate support aspects of the platform with partnership from supporting teams.
  • Monitor and plan for vendor-initiated changes impacting the platform with respective business partners. 
  • Participate in customer relationships and sales leads committees and participate in roundtables to gather peer and industry insight.
  • Partner with PWM Tech Solutions, Wealth Centers, Marketing and Communications, and Operations to create awareness, develop change campaigns, oversee training deliverables, and create collateral needed to support platform adoption as well as continued education ensuring efficient on-going use of CRM technology.
  • Collaborate regularly with PWM branch focus groups acting as an advocate for associates and clients when developing new offerings or product enhancements.
  • Educate front-line support resources (Technology Solutions/Branch Development/Wealth Planners/IT Service Desk) on system capabilities as needed. 
  • Motivate and support the broader cross-functional support resources as an influence leader.
  • May be asked to assume additional technology product ownership of related platforms as project portfolio needs dictate.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Technical area of study preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Superior customer service attributes; willingness to go “above and beyond” for the client.

  • Must be able to take ownership of issues and see them through to completion. Must be able and desire to solve problems.
