Overview:
nTop is seeking a driven and execution-focused Academic Program Manager to promote the adoptionΒ and growth of nTop and computational design within the academic community. This pivotal role focusesΒ on building strong partnerships with academic institutions and promoting our innovative programsΒ globally. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to expand our presence in academicΒ institutions and training programs.Β This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, academic partners, and industryΒ stakeholders to drive the adoption of our software in education and research. As an Academic ProgramΒ Manager, you will be able to shape the future of engineering by equipping students, educators, andΒ researchers with cutting-edge tools during their formative academic and early career stagesβhelpingΒ ensure nTop becomes a cornerstone of their professional journey.
This role can be either remote or based in our New York office, and reports to the Director, ProductΒ Support.
What You'll Do:Β
- Develop and Execute Academic Strategies:Β Design and implement strategies to expandΒ nTopβs presence in academic institutions and training programs worldwide.
- Technical Support & Guidance:Β Provide technical guidance to students using nTop for projects, competitions, and research.
- Create Content: Create training course content and other educational and promotionalΒ materials.
- Build Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with universities, colleges, researchΒ institutions, and training organizations to promote adopting nTop's solutions.
- Program Promotion and Outreach: Drive awareness and engagement for nTopβs academicΒ initiatives through targeted campaigns, events, and direct stakeholder outreach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Β Partner with internal teams, including marketing, sales,Β product, and engineering, to provide feedback on features and tools, align academic programsΒ with business goals, and ensure seamless resource delivery.
- Organize Events: Organize workshops, webinars, and other events to showcase the applicationΒ of our software in engineering education.
- Advocate for Academic Users:Β Act as the voice of educators, students, and researchers withinΒ nTop, advocating for features and programs that meet their unique needs.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program adoption, engagement, and satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve impact.
- Stay current: Stay informed about engineering education and technology trends to improve theΒ program continuously.
Required Experience:Β
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, education, or a related field. Masterβs preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, education, or customer engagement roles,Β ideally in the software or engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, CAE) is a strong plus.
- A self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing curriculum or instructional materials is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for education and advancing the engineering profession.
- Ability/ excitement to travel to our headquarters and universities (10% travel)
Compensation: $115,000-125,000 annually, depending on experience
