Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Product Manager’s primary responsibilities are assisting in the development of new bowling balls and providing technical support. The development process includes planning product introductions, drilling and testing new balls. Technical support is provided through multiple forms of communication including email, social media and traditional methods.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Serves as a primary contact for technical support of ball, bag, shoe, and accessory product lines.

25%

Drills and tests bowling balls and assists with the product development process.

Organizes and maintains the Consumer Products work area including sample balls, ball walls, pro shop, and ball storage area.

5%

Organizes and maintains the Studio work area including sample balls, lane machine and Specto ball analyzing system.

5%

Β 

Provides support to R&D by finishing lab balls, monitoring Durability Lab, and assisting in USBC ball approvals.

5%

Β 

Provides support at seminars, trade shows, tournaments, events, and meetings as needed.

  • Strong understanding of all facets of the bowling industry including distribution and the pro shop business
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with people in multiple departments and motivate those with whom the candidate has no formal reporting relationship
