The Director of Product will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of datafuelXβs advanced advertising platform, with a focus on data-driven video, machine learning-based forecasting, and convergent media planning. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role responsible for driving product innovation and ensuring successful delivery across a portfolio of advanced advertising solutions.
You will partner closely with engineering, data science, partnerships, and client success teams to define and prioritize product roadmaps that meet market needs and scale with customer growth. Youβll serve as a key voice in translating complex advertiser and media owner requirements into actionable development plans, with accountability for both internal delivery milestones and external product adoption.
Ideal candidates will bring a blend of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and deep familiarity with the advertising and media ecosystemβincluding TV/video planning, forecasting, and data activation.
To start with, specific job tasks include:
- Product & Partnership Leadership: Lead coordination across sales, product, engineering, and client success to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features and solutions aligned with customer needs and strategic objectives.
- Commercial Strategy Support: Partner with leadership on product positioning and value articulation to accelerate adoption and expansion of DFX products within client organizations.
- Client-Centric Product Strategy: Act as the voice of the customer, synthesizing feedback across accounts into product insights that shape the roadmap, influence feature prioritization, and inform long-term platform evolution.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with business development and partnerships teams to support strategic proposals, deliver product-led presentations, and tailor go-to-market narratives for high-value opportunities.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree & 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS, data, or media technology environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills β this is a cross-functional, executive-facing position.
- MUST be a strategic thinker and self-starter who brings creativity, initiative, and accountability to rapidly evolving priorities and roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem, with hands-on experience building or managing products in advanced TV, data-driven advertising, or martech.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products from ideation to launch, with familiarity in Agile development practices.
- Strong technical acumen; able to translate complex business problems into actionable product requirements and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience with analytics, data modeling, or BI tools is a strong plus; comfort working with large data sets and communicating product impact through metrics.
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity, decision-making, and output quality.
- Comfortable interfacing with clients and executive stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and drive product adoption.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, tight timelines, and shifting goals.
