Insurance Product Owner

We are looking for a talented Agile Product Owner to guide a team in delivering solutions for our personal lines division. We are a leading property and casualty insurance company with over 100 years of experience. Job Duties:

• Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for a smaller team.
• Elicit and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Manage deliverables, experiments, and roadmap adjustments.
• Implement team goals and strategy, ensuring alignment with overall vision.
• Act as the voice of the end-user, incorporating feedback and needs.
• Make trade-off decisions to maximize value.
• Optimize value flow through KPIs.
• Participate in business readiness and change management.
• Contribute to continuous team and process improvement.

Ideal Background:

• 3+ of experience in Agile product management in the insurance industry
• Experience delivering and supporting personal lines products
• Experience working in a cross-functional, multi-team environment.
• Ability to influence others and foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Agile mindset and product-focused approach.
• Servant leadership qualities.
• Guidewire experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree
