Intern - System Product Owner

Visteon is looking for a BS or MS Electrical or Software Engineering student to work 8 to 14 weeks on projects as a System Product Owner (SYS PO).

Key Objectives of this Role: Clearly define the goals and objectives of the position and how they align with the overall goals of the organization.

• Learn Product Development Process and deliverables
• Preparation for System Engineering Gate Reviews
• Preparation for Customer Specific Sample Deliveries
• Preparation for Program Gate Reviews
• Coordination of Prototype builds for on time delivery
• Identify improvement areas

Key Performance Indicators: KPIs that will be used to evaluate the performance of the individual in the role, including metrics related to team performance, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Weekly progress report of assigned tasks
• Successful completion of Gates and evidence of deliverables
• Delivery of Prototype builds as per plan
• Feedback from stakeholders

Key Deliverables: Metrics and outcomes that the individual will be expected to deliver by the end of the internship.

• Evidence showing full understanding of assigned processes and tasks to be able to lead a Project as a SYS PO
• Prepare Presentation summarizing accomplished tasks aligned with the objective assignment
• Deliver Presentation to various levels of management including the Executive Leadership.
