PowerSchool MyPowerHub is hiring a product manager to contribute to the vision and build global product features that will help schools, teachers and administrators engage parents and students. This is an opportunity at the leading EdTech provider with lots of growth potential for you professionally as you contribute to transformational initiatives at the company. We are looking for someone with 2 years of product management experience (mid level position) and will require working cross-functionally with our India team. 









Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of customer pain points and market dynamics
  • Enhance team performance on delivering products by contributing to the roadmap and managing Scrum teams backlog.
  • Design and build global features
  • Lead Ux develoment team, standards, and library build out
  • Coordinate with other products embedding features in the portal, adopting platform components and Ux standards
  • Meet with customers and gather requirements regulary
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure product success interacting regularly with sales, support, and customer success
  • Contribute to the product vision and evangelism
  • SLDC opportunity identification, roadmap, backlog, beta, release management, feedback look and prioritization
  • Perform customer discovery, outreach, and webinars regularly
  • Implement and track product analytics
  • Build user task workflows
  • Participate and help lead daily scrum ceremonies, leading refinement sessions, and engaging with your Engineering team, guiding direction and focus
  • Ensure quality releases and follow up to eliminate bugs or implementation issues in a modern CI/CD process
  • Facilitate roll out of features including go-to-market deliverables for your features working cross-functionally
  • Support customer relationship, development, and feedback loop
  • Communicate the product vision to the technical teams as well as to other teams within the company
  • Keep senior management updated on product status








Qualifications

 Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+years’ prior experience in a product owner or product manager
  • Excellent understanding of Agile Values and Scrum Methodology
  • Excellent ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience supporting and driving a postive team culture
  • Excellent ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Excellent ability to handle a significant workload with multiple projects and context switches
  • Excellent ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail, while still results oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology practices
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience with business analysis, documenting use cases or requirements gathering

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Front end/UX experience
  • SaaS product management experience
  • Ed Tech experience

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $65,000 – $133,700. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
