Principal Product Manager

Description

Develop a vision for an autonomous coding product for healthcare professionals. Drive roadmap and day-to-day execution of the product via articulating manual workflows that may be replaced by AI. Work with engineering leaders to gain alignment, shape development of prototypes, conduct beta product evaluations, and then launch product. Engage with providers to gain feedback and track/measure success of the product.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and coders to understand coding related needs. Prioritize product features that needs to be developed leveraging AI. 
  • Establish and articulate product differentiation from competitors. Able to understand both the strategic and economic value of key enhancements to product amongst multiple other competing priorities. 
  • Work with the UX and Engineering to prioritize the backlog, articulate clear feature stories with mockups, plan sprints, and deliver features.
  • Contribute to product planning exercises; ensure plans incorporate customer research, usability studies, and market analysis.
  • Developing requirements documents for the engineering teams’ consumption to help them understand the healthcare provider experience from features and functionalities.
  • Communicate requirements and track development sprints, lead testing, and acceptance of the new features, including customer validations.
  • Define product roadmap to deliver products that healthcare clients will utilize and achieve expected business outcomes.
  • Analyze product performance metrics, synthesize takeaways, iterate with Engineering, and ensure quality, compliance, risk, and regulatory expectations.

 

Objective Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for a Product Manager position, the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below must be met. 

  • 5+ years in the product management related to autonomous coding, or HIM coding product management, or PM for mid-revenue cycle products
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in product management
  • Familiarity with coding terminology and ontology in healthcare

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or an equivalent experience
  • Experience scaling already launched products and/or launching 0-1 products

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
