Description

A Principal Product Manager for Oracle Health Patient Accounting and Contract Management will inform product strategy and direction, documenting and advocating for critical business and customer requirements. They will align this strategy with the broader OHAI product strategy to deliver innovative solutions as well as integrations into the patient (consumer), clinical staff, and administrative staff experience.Β  They will define the quality bar for their product and service, and work with the appropriate teams achieve those goals. They understand cost (and pricing) model for their service.Β  They will identify and mitigate risks across our systems, particularly at the intersection of business and engineering. They can present to executive level audiences and clearly articulate ideas and influence decisions and key audiences.

This role must have breadth or depth across one or more vertical markets, level of influence on customer strategy and technology direction. Ideally this candidate would have strong experience working with or as a customer and will be able to span across the multiple areas of our products. Β It will be vital for someone in this role to understand, analyze, and transform processes; identifying opportunities for automation and value creation; shaping the next generation healthcare experiences.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in effectively steering intricate projects from conception through to commercialization and launch.
  • Proactively gather competitive intelligence, researching industry trends to establish and refine commercialization benchmarks.
  • Strategize, document, and relay to stakeholders the KPIs vital for gauging the efficacy and areas of improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional endeavors, showcasing stellar leadership skills in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Ideate and communicate product migration strategy and automation opportunities to transform customer experiences.
  • Prioritize and groom the backlog with a focus on reduced cost to Oracle and customers as they operate our products.
  • Initiate and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders soliciting and addressing feedback.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Finance, or a Healthcare-centric field.
  • 10+ years in product management or a role of similar caliber.
  • Operates autonomously as well as plays a role of a leader on the broader team.
  • Precision-focused, complemented by the capability to juggle and direct diverse priorities.
  • A dynamic mindset capable of strategic and on-the-fly decision-making in a high-velocity environment.
  • Exceptional messaging skills in both written/oral/presentation communication skills.Β 
  • Proven experience achieving KPIs set for product and industry growthΒ 
  • Established credibility with healthcare industry figures, ranging from CFOs, CMOs, CIOs to business line leads.

Preferred:

  • An MBA (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Demonstrable expertise in creating solutions and whitepapers, particularly on cloud/virtualization platforms within the healthcare landscape.
  • Understanding of key competitors, vendors and partners within the Healthcare Revenue Management landscape.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
