Description


You will work with customers and OCI engineering leaders to define differentiated value propositions for new services, write clear functional requirements, and drive the product development lifecycle across multiple cloud services. Prior experience and deep domain knowledge in video playback, video encoding technologies, content delivery using CDNs, and live streaming is highly desired.Β

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple cloud service offerings.Β 
  • Write product strategy as an input to product design; Conduct relevant market research, analyze industry trends, and have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.Β 
  • Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and business needs; Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand evolving needs.Β 
  • Represent product roadmap and strategy to customers and collaborators; Champion opportunities for OCI to build differentiated services and features.Β 
  • Write well-understood and clear functional requirements; White papers and strategy document writing will be regular part of the role, to keep senior leadership and executives in-step with organizational vision and delivery against that vision.Β 
  • Manage technical tradeoffs, balancing customer experience, time to market, functional completeness, and costs.Β 
  • Drive the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements and quality standards in collaboration with partner service organizations.Β 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee the development process, providing guidance and support as needed.Β 
  • Monitor and analyze product performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Β

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.Β 
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in product management in the media and entertainment industry, specifically in streaming product ecosystems.Β 
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and/or distributed enterprise systems architecture.Β 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Β 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of successful product launches.Β 
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.Β

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
