Description

Verily is seeking a Product Manager Lead to drive the development of innovative data products for Sightline customers. This role focuses on delivering high-quality data solutions such as visualizations, dashboards, APIs, and tools for data analysis. The Product Manager Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing offerings and introduce new products to the market.

Sightline, Verily’s public health platform, empowers researchers, communities, and governments to detect and mitigate diseases at a population level. Verily Sightline Wastewater leverages wastewater-based epidemiology to provide logistics and surveillance services for detecting pathogens. Supporting hundreds of sites across the U.S., the platform processes samples in its lab and delivers automated, efficient digital reports on pathogen concentrations.

This role will be based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with public health organizations and B2B customers to understand their data needs and shape the product roadmap.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with designers, engineers, and data scientists to develop and launch impactful data products.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and drive continuous improvements.

  • Develop pricing strategies that align with market trends and maximize customer value.

  • Support the international expansion of Sightline Wastewater solutions, identifying opportunities to scale globally.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including launching data products at scale.

  • Proven ability to shape and execute product roadmaps based on customer insights.

  • Expertise in data infrastructure, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and event-driven analytics systems.

  • Experience in commercializing data products, including go-to-market strategies and product adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience developing and executing pricing strategies for data products.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executives.

  • Strategic thinker with advanced analytical skills, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to bring enterprise-grade solutions to market.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling products globally and navigating diverse market dynamics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $194,000 - $258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
