Description

Responsible for driving the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap, and execution for assigned MCS products and services. Advocates for the client and end user experience through data and research driven product discovery and development methods. Ensures alignment between Product, Business and Practice Leadership priorities in context of Mayo Collaborative Services (MCS) and DLMP overall strategy and goals, while ensuring the end-user needs are met.Β 

Oversees the entire life cycle of the assigned product, from defining setting the vision, managing to OKRs, developing innovation and strategic road maps, managing capacity, and ultimately creating best in class products and services that drive revenue generation, competitive advantage, and market leadership. Accountable to the success of a cross-functional team including, including experts in design, IT, analytics, marketing, sales, lab sciences, and others. Applies and operates effectively with Agile product methodologies. Responsible for driving the product strategy, vision, design, and development execution.

Ensure delivery of high-value products and services in alignment with business goals and market opportunities. Leads a high performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently that is collaborative with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders. Leverages market, sales, operations, laboratory scientist and customer feedback and data to inform and guide future product/feature development. Advocate for end-users and builds and improves features based on their pain points. Proactively manages and monitors product and operational risks (regulatory, pricing, security, operational, etc.) in order to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business.Β 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities.Β 
  • Monitors and manages product schedules, pricing, scopes and budgets and delivering as scheduled.
  • Β Manages external Mayo Clinic vendor and partnership relationships as assigned.Β 
  • Sets and manages to product performance scorecards and OKRs.Β 
  • Works collaboratively across all MCS domains, business partners (Practice, Education, Research, Administration, Business Development, International) and Mayo Clinic Shared Services.Β 
  • Works collaboratively with internal Mayo Clinic clients, including consultants, clinical and research professionals, administrators, and external business partners.
  • Represents Mayo Clinic and MCS in interactions with vendors, and non-Mayo partners in a positive and constructive way.

This position is 100% remote work; can work from anywhere in the U.S. Occasional travel may be required based on business need.



Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, statistics, engineering, technology, health care). Master’s Degree preferred. 3+ years of product management experience with experience managing full product lifecycle for complex products or a family of products.Β 

Strong preference for health care experience (clinical, management, technology, other) from some Product Manager roles.Β
