DescriptionAs a Principal Product Manager on OCI's Commercial Systems team, you will spearhead the creation of products that the worldβs largest customers need to successfully adopt the cloud. The OCI Commercial Systems product portfolio is responsible for all capabilities downstream from order management and upstream from accounts receivable.
This role will support new commercial capabilities to expand our various private & sovereign cloud offerings. Product management experience with cloud quote to cash workflows and customer experiences as well as knowledge of cloud pricing & billing models is preferred. This role will also support commercialization (e.g. pricing, subscriptions, accounts, metering, billing) initiatives that span across Oracle, including public cloud.
We build products, services, and tools across the quote-to-cash lifecycle that allow customers to use the cloud effectively and efficiently, as well as to resell OCI services in their private cloud regions that run on OCI. Our technologies span across Oracle's growing global footprint of cloud regions. Our products must be user-friendly, hyper-scalable, very low-latency, and always correct while meeting increasingly complex customer and business requirements. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders including senior executives, architects, development teams, and external partners to take ideas, turn them into mature products, and put them in the hands of the worldβs most demanding customers.
The successful candidate will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, a knack for creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams. The successful candidate will also have superior executive communication skills and ability to drive outcomes across multiple lines of business.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Identify, define and prioritize products and features
- Represent product roadmap and strategy to customers and stakeholders
- Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and devise creative solutions to serve their needs
- Write product definitions as an input to technical architecture and user experience design
- Collaborate with development and UX teams to iterate on and refine product designs
- Create blogs, whitepapers, videos, and other content to help enable customer success
- Define, measure, and manage customer experience and business performance goals
- Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that might otherwise derail product development and product launches
- Become an expert in and drive the vision for one or more product areas
- Be an advocate for the customer through the product lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on product management experience with cloud or enterprise software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to define and shape the business strategy for large product areas
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Proven track record of successfully shipping new products in an agile environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Influence decisions and outcomes at the most senior executive levels
- Technical domain knowledge of public and private cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience with quote-to-cash lifecycle and software applications
