What Youβll Do:
As a Product Owner, youβll play a key role in our agile product development process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading agile sprint activities, including planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with Product Managers to refine and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Clarifying user stories and acceptance criteria with developers, testers, and stakeholders.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the development team, ensuring quick decision-making to avoid delays.
- Monitoring sprint progress using agile metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Mentoring junior product owners and promoting agile best practices across teams.
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to deliver user-focused product designs.
- Driving the tactical execution of projects while supporting strategic product goals.

What Youβll Bring:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in information systems, computer science, business, or two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Three (3) years of experience with Agile practices and principles.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in product management for software products.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Suite.

Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Compliance SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with the energy sector's regulatory environment.
- Previous experience in the oil, gas, or energy industries or a SaaS business model.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
- Proficiency with agile project management tools and techniques.
- Adaptability to shifting project scopes while maintaining progress and team morale.

- Work Arrangement: Flexible, remote work environment with occasional travel (up to 20%).
- Schedule: Business Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (shifts may vary within these hours).
