Product Owner, Lead

Key Role:

Lead the continuous improvement of a new, integrated Contracts Life Cycle Management (CLM) solution to support the evolution of business needs and technical capabilities. Engage with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and backlog prioritization. Maintain responsibility for leading discussions with the business to elicit system improvements, translate functional requirements into technical specifications, and devise the best technical solution for integrations and configurations to ensure system operability and scalability. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation and risk management. Lead and manage a team of internal and external resources ensuring alignment with project goals and providing coaching and mentoring. Implement agile software development best practices to maintain and modernize systems. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of experience as aΒ technical lead forΒ contracts systems and solutions

  • 8+ years of experience withΒ Microsoft .NET/.NET CoreΒ using various technologies, such as ASP .NET MVC, HTML/CSS,Β JavaScript, Angular,Β Node JS, or Kendo libraries

  • 5+ years of experience building and executing contractΒ systems implementations, maintenance, and scoping

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile software delivery via Scrum or Kanban, and tools, such as the Atlassian suite

  • 5+ years of experience with end-to-endΒ development of NET applications,Β including Web API, Web Services and Azure applications

  • Ability to collaborate closely with the technical implementation team, functional stakeholders, end users, and various functional leads on developing and configuring system functionality

  • Ability to clearly explain technical conceptsΒ as well as develop Product Roadmap

  • Ability to function as coach and mentor to team members

  • Bachelor's degreeΒ in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Science

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience withΒ programming languages C# and vb.net

  • Experience with Icertis

  • Experience usingΒ MS VisioΒ forΒ Architecture Diagrams and data modeling

  • Experience in Office 365 suite MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Experience with Database Management in SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle

  • KnowledgeΒ of CRM like Dynamics, or Salesforce

  • Knowledge ofΒ reportingΒ tools likeΒ PowerBI, or Tableau

  • Knowledge of Azure Databricks, DataLake and Azure Storage

  • Possession of excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
