Overview

Summary/objective
The Product Owner, Sr reports to the Director of Product Management and is responsible for collaborating with customers (internal and external) to fully understand and document system integration and business needs. The Product Owner, Sr will work in collaboration with Key Customers, Product Management, Project Management and Data Scientists to assist in delivering solutions for the mechanical/collision repair, key programming, and auction spaces.

Consults with customers, business stakeholders to gain detailed understanding of user personas, their workflows, their ecosystem, and their technical capabilities, translates understanding into requirements or process maps illuminating requirements.
Documents and shares detailed understanding of the software and systems that support business deliverables and goals.
Creates detailed requirements outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
Documents implementation considerations, use-case diagrams, workflows, or process maps.
Prepares User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation and leads the user acceptance testing effort with the responsible business process owner.
Leads discovery sessions and incorporates findings into the product backlog.
Signs off on Quality Assurance test cases ensuring that delivery meets the definition of done
Conducts internal and external product demonstrations.
Ownership of customer integrations, business rules engines, and pricing engine products
Briefs and trains sales team and develop or contribute to sales collateral.
Work in a team environment using a SCRUM Agile SDLC and JIRA/Confluence tooling.
Partners with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Data Insights, and other internal teams to clear ambiguity so that sprints can be completed successfully.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS degree required or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills required

Β· 5+ years’ experience as a product owner, business analyst, or relevant experience
Β· 3+ years of experience directly working customers to deliver IT solutions
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Β· High level of confidentiality and ethics
Β· Automotive, Collision and/or automotive diagnostic software experience
Β· Ability to collaborate with and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization verbally and in writing
Β· Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation
Β· Excellent attention to detail with a problem-solving approach
Β· Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Β· Demonstrated strong analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret and organize data and information
Β· High level competence using Microsoft office software and product management software (Jira/Confluence)
Supervisory responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

Physical demands
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.

Travel required
This position will require limited travel.
