The Program Manager – Collaboration Tools position primarily serves to enable connected data solutions that meet or exceed the functional interests of parties across the company, our end customers, and other external business relationship parties. This important role carries functional ownership responsibilities for external collaboration tools, whether they be standalone applications or focused modules within a larger platform. The program manager will work closely with technical tool owners to ensure business requirements and continuity are realized. While seeking to optimize tool usage and capability, the position also drives value-added interaction for internal parties, such as project engineering, so that external customers and partners can meet contractual obligations for data sharing, enable process workflows, and better manage other coordinated needs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Holds functional ownership responsibilities for the development and sustainability of the collaboration tool program, managing the business requirements for project, product, systems, and asset needs in the space. Β Current program coverage includes these standalone tools and modules:

    • DCTM (PW-Collab module) - Primarily used for data collaboration with customers

    • PCDMS - Is mainly a recordkeeper for official correspondences with customers and others

    • PTS (focus on several collaboration modules) - Allows partner and customer access to PLM data, enables concurrent engineering, and interfaces with Supply Chain and other teams

    • PLM Modules

      • (1) ATS – Allows external party data sharing per various business relationship constructs
      • (2) Scheduling/Project Management Integrations - PLM functionality that enables Project Engineering Schedule and Task collaboration for internal parties and other tools
  • Manages program governance, planning, prioritization, and execution

  • Owns bowler metrics and standard work for program in partnership with IT Technical Tool Owners

  • Leads Continuous Improvement activities for program, engaging in tool roadmap management to maximize application usage and capability while delivering strategic transformation for Gas Power

  • Work with functional and technical owners of other related tools and modules to synergize and enable simplification of GPE’s collaboration tools landscape

  • Serve as a liaison between IT and GPE to clarify integration needs for project setup and execution

  • Provides leadership to functional tool leads/SMEs and drives alignment with business stakeholders

  • Take on assignments beyond position scope, as requested or required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc,) from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • Experience in a Technical Leader or equivalent Senior Engineer role.

Other Beneficial Characteristics

  • Working knowledge of GPE collaboration tools or other tools with similar functionality
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property Protection and Export Control Regulation
  • Understanding of scrum methodology, preferably with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Familiarity with other Engineering-focused Enterprise, Design, and Manufacturing Tools

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position isΒ $112,000-$185,400 USD Annually.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
