Overview:Β 

Softtek Government Solutions, is seeking a Program ManagerΒ to support our government client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility of the contract activities: planning, organizing, directing, controlling, staffing, and reporting status, deliverables, and schedules to the client.Β 

Qualifications/Requirements:Β 

Required Skills/Education Experience: Bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise software development environment.Β 

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationΒ 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.Β 
  • At least eight (8) years of Project Management experience in an Agile Software Development environment, including methodologies related to software lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large-scale federal IT contracts, encompassing the oversight of project scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience with requirements tools and tracking such as JIRA.Β 
  • Experience leading multiple teams supporting multiple applications with independent release schedules.Β 
  • Experience defining all program activities and milestones required to meet objectives and deliverables, properly sequencing tasks and estimating effort with program team members doing the work, determining the critical path, and leveling the project schedule.Β 
  • Experience monitoring program execution to identify obstacles and deviations from plan and takes corrective action as needed.Β 
  • Experience conducting continuous risk assessment and management including developing measures to reduce risk in program execution.Β 
  • Experience developing metrics and reports for tracking program execution.Β 
  • Experience with contract management, budgeting, and resource allocation, including management of Subcontractor personnel.Β 
  • Proficient in development of plans, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, communicating progress, resolving conflicts, and escalating issues.Β 
  • Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.Β 
  • Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business writing ability
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials
  • Leading and mentoring teams

Required Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain an DHS Suitability
