Description

We are seeking a strong full stack SRE to lead, manage and drive SaaS fleet deployment readiness including solution/architecture review, coordination, communication, technical discussion and collaboration across multiple service owners, Architects. This position will also include driving internal cross teams discussions to produce a strategic deployment plan and present the deployment plan to key customers.

  1. Define, document, drive and manage a light-weight but an effective fleet deployment planning and readiness process which includes reviewing the solution design.
  2. Prepare, document, manage and communicate the outcome of the fleet deployment planning and readiness process to various stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate and provide constructive feedback to service owners as part of the fleet deployment planning and readiness process process to ensure the service is operations ready, highly available, idempotent, scalable and quickly restartable.
  4. Facilitate and drive technical discussions with various stakeholders to achieve the desired goal and to meet customer's needs.
  5. Investigate, prepare and present operations updates/plan to customers.
  6. Translate customer's requirements into an operational plan.
  7. Define and document best practices for system architectures, systems configurations, and technical operational processes and policies.
  8. Work with various technical teams including product development teams to establish optimal roadmap
  9. Produce and present executive summary on complex projects issues.
  10. Research, discover and document new technologies.
  11. Apply Agile project management methodology and practice using Jira.

Qualifications:

  • OCI Architect Certified.
  • Ability to read, understand a service architecture diagrams and application design.Β 
  • A solid understanding of a full stack cloud-based technologies ( Front-end, Back-end, network, systems, OCI architecture, OCI servicesΒ  etc )
  • Strong technical writing experience including process flows, features requirements
  • Strong customer facing interaction experience.
  • Strong agile project management methodology ( Jira )
  • Familiarity with all aspects of cloud operations.
  • Ability to think creatively and work independently
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of CS fundamentals including OS, Networking, Data Structures, Algorithms, Concurrency, and Distributed Systems
  • 5+ years of professional experience in reliability engineering, software engineering, or systems engineering; blend of interests in both software and systems engineering.
  • 5 + years of Experience in customer facing role.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing cloud migration and systems/service solutions.
  • Take enjoyment in solving complex customer problems.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
