Job Summary: 

We're looking for a strategic thinker who has a strong product and technical acumen to lead our applied AI efforts and shape the product and business in the coming years via the cutting-edge advancements in AI.  This is a new role, reporting directly to the CTO, designed to jump start our AI innovation.  The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical, product management, communication, and leadership ability.  Ultimately, we are looking for someone that is excited about seizing opportunities to leverage AI in travel to achieve our B2B2C business goals.  

Primary Functions: 

• Own and execute the company's AI strategy; define and execute the product roadmap.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Experience & Insights, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and Customer Support to identify opportunities for leveraging AI solutions to drive business outcomes. 
• Present AI-driven innovation opportunities to C-Level stakeholders.
• Lead the ideation, design, and execution of AI-driven products and solutions.
• Create customer facing and business facing AI agents or solutions that improve operational efficiency, revenue or customer excellence.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI.  

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly LLMs, generative AI and commercial tools available to leverage AI. 
• Proven experience in product management, with a track record of at least five years successfully launching and managing products.
• Familiarity with low/no code platforms for creating AI agents and applications.  Preferred experience in Microsoft CoPilot Studio.
• Demonstrated ability integrating AI into products for customers
• Experience leading company-wide transformation initiatives
• Experience with AI, automation, data, and how to apply these capabilities to drive measurable business impact
• Ability to build relationships and inspire/influence colleagues at all levels
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
