About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Group Product Manager, the Senior Product Manager will serve as a member of a team at the core of Remitly’s remittance product. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval.

You Will:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand customer and business needs to inform priorities, sequencing, and roadmap.
  • Own team OKRs in partnership with engineering team, and manage cross-team alignment.
  • Define and improve success metrics for each phase of the company’s systems evolution.
  • Own product backlog, requirements specifications, and drive projects from inception through completion.
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across the organization to define, build and deliver new functionality across systems.

You Have:

  • Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with technical product and project management.
  • 1 year of experience with setting and building product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization, and executing on a roadmap.
  • 1 year of experience defining and leading growth strategy for systems.
  • 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams on technical product development and implementation.
  • 1 year of experience defining requirements specifications.
  • 1 year of experience writing technical documentation.
  • 1 year of experience writing product requirement documents.
  • 1 year of experience translating customer experience into system design.
  • 1 year of experience building scalable platforms.
  • 1 year of experience developing reliable backend systems.
  • 1 year of experience directing implementation of APIs.
  • 1 year of experience building regression models.
  • 1 year of experience with JIRA, Confluence, Elasticsearch, Figma, R, and Tableau.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $152,000.00 to $190,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
