Technical Program Manager

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs in support of corporate strategy. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with a program management function, including controlling or forecasting program risk, schedule, cost, or quality

  • 3+ years of experience with leading medium-to-large-sized multi-functional technical teams to successful program execution

  • Experience with developing client-ready documentation using clear and concise messaging, including architecture diagrams, strategic roadmaps, or status reports

  • Experience with using complex technical requirements to develop achievable program timelines

  • Experience with establishing and documenting repeatable programmatic and technical processes to achieve scale

  • Experience with managing agile teams using the Atlassian suite

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with building trusting relationships with government stakeholders, including acquisitions, leadership, or technical

  • Experience with the product life cycle

  • Experience with managing internal products, programs, or intellectual propertyΒ 

  • Knowledge of intellectual property and data rights terms and definitions in the federal landscape

  • Ability to develop and manage technical and user-facing documentation for complex software products

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
