Job Overview:

The Product Owner identifies improvements needed to enhance a product and works within the agile process to assign priority, business value, and functionality to ensure the development team implements. The Product Owner works with the business owners to ensure the successful release of the new functionality and owns the communication across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Technology while interfacing and engaging with the business user and LPL stakeholders.

  • Create user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough to be developed in a single sprint

  • Prioritize user stories by business value and decides which user stories are scheduled into sprints

  • Drive features through the Discovery Phase, ensuring stories are written, UX designs have been tested, and the feature implementation is validated by cross functional teams

  • Communicate product strategy and status outside the team and at the executive level

  • Use clear goals to communicate the project vision at the beginning of every release and sprint so that the team understands and is equipped toΒ realize it

  • Make business decisions andΒ clearly communicates requirements through epics and stories so they are understood

  • Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product feature backlog basedΒ on business value

  • Participate in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demosΒ and other Scrum-related meetings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years product owner experience

  • 3+ years product experience within and agile delivery framework and utilization of JIRA

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff and management across multiple partner teams

  • Exemplary collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Passion for delivering the best client experience both internally and externally

  • Ability for multi-tasking while prioritizing to show results

  • Ability to effectively respond to dynamically changing work environments and to positively influence business outcomes

Preferences:

  • 3+ years financial services experience

  • 3+ years developing a digital product displaying accounts

Pay Range:

$116,100-$193,500/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
